Put your back against a wall and place your feet about a foot from the wall. Next, what you’re going to do is you’re going to raise your toes and foot up towards the ceiling. This is called ankle dorsiflexion. Now, as much as this seems easy, it is normal to feel a bit of a burn in front of the shin or around the knee. Keep going up and down. And there you have it.
