Must Try Glute Stretches

Dr. Clayton Roach: Here’s an excellent stretch for some of you with lower back pain. As you may know, the glute significantly contributes to the mechanics of your lower back. It can be involved with cases of low back pain. Here’s one of the better stretches for your glutes. You’re going to lay down on your back, and you’re going to grab the outer part of your foot using the same hand as the foot. You’re going to reach out, grab the foot, and then you’re going to bring the foot towards you and the face. At this point, I’m feeling a great stretch into my glute. You’re going to hold this stretch for 25, to 30 seconds, do it three times and enjoy the stretch.
