Dr. Ben Boudreau: Here are a few great exercises that you can do in case you’re experiencing carpal tunnel-like symptoms. First exercise is you’re going to want to take your hands, bring them together like so, and then push down in the inferior direction. You can already feel a nice deep stretch through the front of my wrist. The second stretch that you’re going to want to do is take the hand, palm side up in front of you and extend the wrist back, pulling the wrist back with the opposite hand. I can feel a nice deep stretch through the front of my forearm here, through the top. The third exercise that you’re going to want to do is nerve floss. And so, you’re bringing your hand, the affected side against your head like so. And then you’re just bringing the head to the opposite side and extending your arm out to the opposite side. Please bring it back to the relaxed position. Perform this exercise or these group of exercises 2 to 3 times a day to help with your carpal tunnel.
