The chiropractor assesses the joints of the spine to potentially find areas of nerve interference. Joints can become fixated or “stuck” from repetitive stress or traumas. Once identified, these areas are corrected with chiropractic adjustments. Adjustments are completed by hand and/or utilizing the advanced Activator Technique. We will chose the technique that is the right fit for you and that you are most comfortable with.

Your First Visit

We want to see how your body is functioning. We will do a thorough orthopedic and neurological examination to determine what your specific problem is. We want you to feel comfortable and confident in your decision to be a part of our community of health and wellness.

We will take a detailed health history to better understand your health situation. We want to know where you have been and what your story is with the current health system. We will perform two scans that are both non-evasive and safe. These scans identify the amount of stress your nervous system is under by measuring the function of nerves going to muscles and organs. We will measure your weight distribution and assess the way you walk.

Chiropractic Examination

The doctor will examine your posture and your range of motion to see how your body is functioning. The doctor will assess your spine for areas not moving well called subluxations. X-rays may be needed to assess the structural changes that have happened to your spine over time and allow us to clearly determine a proper care plan for a timely return to optimal function. We look forward to building a relationship with you that will get you back to the person you used to be!
